GST, PAYE, Financial statements, tax returns, company or trust compliance, budgets, cash flow forecasts, it can make you dizzy just thinking about it. And it doesn’t end there.
But standard accountancy services don’t have to incur standard fees. I understand the ebbs and flows of a business cycle and believe you deserve to have a fee structure that fits your needs. I can either charge a simple fee for a simple service, offer tiered pricing for more advanced needs, or custom pricing for complex needs.
Simple Pricing
I charge a simple fee of 0.7% + GST of your net profit before owners remuneration and tax. When you are doing well, it generally means more work for me, and vice versa for when business is tough. There is a minimum charge of $100, and an extra charge for sending me physical paperwork instead of emailing it, which varies depending on volume.
What you will get:
– Annual Financial Statements
– Annual income tax returns for business (and simple shareholder returns if it’s a company) prepared and filed with the IRD
– Annual company or trust compliance minutes

Additional non-tax compliance can be offered too. I charge $100 + GST per entity per year for this.
For a company this will include annual filing with the Companies Office. For a trust this will include financial paperwork as requested by your lawyer, such as a balance sheet and minutes to the account.

This includes accounting and financial advice clients, but excludes charity clients who are already getting discounted services.
