I’m a long-time advocate of the charitable sector, having been heavily involved ever since finishing my accounting studies at Waikato University in 2006.

It was this passion that also saw the need for a solution to the administrative burden charities face in generating end-of-year donation receipts.  As I result I created (and run) Donation Manager – free software which allows any registered charity to better manage this challenge.

Straight Forward Pricing

To try and help keep compliance as easy to achieve as possible, as long as you use Xero, I offer annual financial statements and the filing of these with the Charities Commission at a fee of $200 plus 0.5% of your trading income.

Trading Income is your grant income, plus product or services sales, less the direct cost of those sales (such as product purchases). Trading Income doesn’t include donations received, and so if donations are your only source of income, then your annual fee will only be $200 + GST!

If your accounts are being prepared for audit, or would like to be provided basic Xero based reporting & analysis for your board meetings, such as a Budget Comparison, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet, please see the more advanced pricing below.

I do have experience in Tier 2 reporting (both monthly and annual) due to my work as a company accountant for Arataki Ministries for over 4 years. This can be offered at custom pricing based on a number of variables.

There is an extra charge for sending me physical paperwork instead of emailing it, which varies depending on volume.

* 1. The base GST review service has a limit of 500 reconciled transactions per 2 month period. Time associated with reviewing any extra or unreconciled transactions are charged at the discounted rate of $75 + GST per hour.
